There is no installer. Unzip it and copy the folder — see your platform’s install page for where to put it and what else it needs.

Updating

Quit vPinOps, replace the program folder with the new one, start it again. Your tables, your config and your run log are in different places entirely and an update never touches them.

What is in a release

• The program, for one platform, as a folder you copy.
• Nothing else. Visual Pinball is not bundled — you install that yourself, and vPinOps points at it. Same for ROMs, DOF and your tables.

Version numbers

0.x while it is in development. A release note names what changed, and anything that has not been run on a real machine says so — see the roadmap for the standing list of what is tested and what is not.
